- Longer limit straps allow the front doors to open up to 13 inches wider and allow the rear doors to open 2 inches wider. Easier to get in and out of the cab. Built for 4 door Can Am Defender Max new style full doors with glass 2022.5- present. Fits CanAm Defender Max 4 door NEW style doors with glass 2022.5- present.
- Comes with 6 cables 4 long and 2 short. The new rear cables are 5/16 inch longer than the factory allowing the rear doors to open 2 inches more than factory. You have 2 options of cables for the front 1 option is 5/8 inch longer than factory allowing the front doors to open 9 inches wider than factory and the 2nd option for the front is 1-1/8 inch longer than factory allowing the front doors to open 13 inches wider than factory. This is the maximum length of cables that we can make for the 4 door defender because of the way the door hinges are built if we make them any longer the cables will NOT stop the door from hitting the factory stops that are built into the door hinge.
- These cables allow for the rear doors to open 2 inches wider and they allow the front doors to open 9-13 inches wider. They come with detailed instruction on how to install and where to put the long and short cables. If you want your rear doors to open more than 32 inches and the fronts to open more than 53 inches you will have to do some custom work to your hinges and you will have to order custom sized door straps. This Kit is designed to be a bolt on part that gives you maximum opening of your doors without having to fabricate your door hinges.
- Kit comes with 6 stainless steel cables. Four 9-3/8 inch long cables and two 8-3/4 inch long cables this allows you to choose how wide you want your front doors to open. Kit comes with 2 cables that are 5/16 inch longer than CanAm part number 705800903, 2 cables that are 1-1/8 inch longer than CanAm part number 705800896 and 2 cables that are 5/8 inch longer than CanAm part number 705800896. Your factory cables will have the part number on them.
- Installing these extended door straps will give you more room to get in and out of your Defender
